Step
1.
Bring the cartridges to the replace cartridge spot.

Step 2. Un-snap each tab one at a time. See photo.

With the aid of a small pair of pliers grab the front of the cartridge pack. see photo. By pulling up on both ends the cartridges they will come up as an assembly. Be carful not to break or damage the cartridges or re-set switch |

With the cartridges out of the cartridge holder you can now prime them or replace the combo chip if necessary. If this is going to take you some time un-plug the printer from the wall. |

Step 3.How to install the cartridges back into the cartridge holder.
Press the cartridges assembly down into the cartridge holder. Push them down firmly and then press each cartridge tab hearing a snap. You should hear a snap for all the cartridge. This is a tight fit. |

By pressing firmly you should hear the snap in. |

Now plug the printer in. If you get an error that says " Can not recognize the cartridge" then they are not in correctly. On printers that do not have an led you will get an orange light this is the same. Keep trying until you get no warnings. |

If you get this " charging the ink" then everything is ok. If you get a solid green light then you have install the cartridges correctly. Some printer only have lights. |
