Our refill kits work great for two reasons:

1. We use nothing but top quality premium commercial grade American ink in the manufacturing of our kits.  "Commercial grade" just means that our inkjet ink is in wide use by commercial printers who demand inks that will equal or exceed the original manufacturer's quality.
   

2. We have well-illustrated excellent directions that are easy to follow and work extremely well.

• There are about a dozen inkjet ink manufacturers of fairly decent ink in the US.  There are only three that we consider "first rate" printer ink suppliers.  The manufacturer that we use is, in our opinion, far superior to the other two.  There are also hundreds of Asian and European ink jet ink manufacturers. We tested a few and did not get good results.
• In our opinion, the ink manufacturer we use produces an ink far superior to any ink we know of.  They not only produce the standard inks for desktop printers but they also manufacture commercial specialty ink for wide format printers and top quality artist archival ink.
• The company we buy from produces ink that chemically functions perfectly.  Their color balance is "right on" to match the original inks.
• We pay a little more for our ink but we decided early on that it would not pay in the long run to sacrifice quality for quantity.
• Our decision has proven correct. We receive regular feedback from our customers telling us how much they like our ink - how much they like the quality and how they can tell no difference between the original ink and ours. We also get regular feedback telling us how easy the printer ink refill kit is to use and most important how much the ink refill kit saved them.

• We write our own directions.  We own printers for every type of cartridge our ink refilling kits refill.
• When we develop a new ink refill kit we first install the new ink jet printer and print photographs and samples of the original ink. Then we print all the ink out of the cartridge, and refill it. Then we print photos and samples of our refill ink for comparison. We print all the ink out and refill over and over until we are satisfied with our refill procedure. It takes an incredible amount of time to refine the technique for each ink cartridge. 
• The end results are directions that work and are easy to follow.  However we never stop learning new tricks and refining our directions a little more.

Unfortunately a few people are in the ink refill business to make a quick buck. They buy the cheapest ink they can find, dump it in a bottle and add some directions copied from somewhere, and package it. Most of the time, they don't have a clue if it works or not and usually it doesn't. The universal ink refill kits seen on TV are a rip-off. The inks are very specific to each printer, if they are to match to original manufacturers ink.
